The District Held its Budget Conference on the 23rd October 2019 which was a success, all stakeholders participated spearheaded by the different LC 3 Chairpersons and Town Council Mayor. Kalangala Has 6 Sub Counties and 1 Town Council whose 5 Year development plans and next financial year's (2020/2021) work plan were presented to District to support them in and what they will be able to do for themselves.

After the Budget conference the Sub-counties/Town Council Submissions to the District, the planning unit integrates all the suggestions and submissions from all stakeholders in the Budget Framework Paper which is in the on going process now.
